I'm currently a Senior Product Designer at Grubhub where I work on both web and mobile products on a team focused on user acquisition. In this role, I'm primarily focussed on designing product design features, as well as mentoring more junior designers on the team.
January 2017 - June 2017
At Etsy I worked on a team called Brand Product Experiences. During this time I worked predominantly on Etsy’s web product and to a lesser extent one of it’s apps: Buy on Etsy on iOS and Android.
My main projects included working on an experimental mobile app concept as well as a landing page for a major marketing campaign. For the landing page, I worked closely with marketing, brand and product teams to create a compelling specialized shopping experience on web and mobile web.
January 2015 – January 2017, New York, New York
At Foursquare I focussed mainly on Swarm’s iOS and Android apps. In addition to working on Swarm’s apps, I designed a marketing site at swarmapp.com, work on web features as needed, and have worked on Foursquare’s apps as well. For projects in this role, I work from concept to UX design through to visual design, working with stakeholders to fine tune features and also work on implementation with engineers.
Lead Product Designer
November 2013 – December 2014, New York, New York
At Betaworks I was a lead product designer working on Tapestry predominantly. In my role at Tapestry I redesigned Tapestry’s website, designed and led direction for marketing creative and redesigned it’s iOS apps for iPhone and iPad. During this time Tapestry was featured in Cosmopolitan magazine’s September issue. At Tapestry, I worked from concept to execution of projects, working through UX design to visual design and then implementing designs with engineers.
I also contributed CSS to Tapestry’s site relaunch for tapestrylabs.com.
Senior Graphic Designer / Producer
October 2012 – November 2013 New York, NY
In this role I worked on the redesign of websites for the company’s subbrands: PRODn and Photovogue, worked on a branding concepts for Photovogue and managed other designers.
Additionally I designed artist portfolios and books, provided designs for microsites and web pages, and worked with different teams in the company to provide design deliverables for web graphics and email blasts.
I communicated with site development vendors, and oversaw feature updates to photovogue.artandcommerce.com and managed artandcommerce.com and managed other designers.
Interactive Designer / Producer
September 2009 – October 2012, New York, New York
I provided visual design deliverables for microsites, logos, homepage takeovers and rich media banners and worked on concepts for projects including microsites, homepage takeovers, games and rich media units.
During this time, I worked on project pitches for microsites for Google and Nautica. I also managed designers and developers, and projects, and provided art direction for projects.
Clients included: MTV, Martha Stewart and MoMA
Interactive and Motion Graphics Intern
2009 – 2009 Brooklyn, New York
I worked on client projects in After Effects and Final Cut Pro, assisted programming an interactive video installation as well as creating moodboards, typography and project compositions in Illustrator and Photoshop.
